I know it is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. Instead of protesting an injustice I will use my strength to prevent it from occurring again.

Wallowing in frustration is really idleness in disguise. Those who have nothing to do, enjoy nothing. I have a lot to do. So I will always be happy.

Inauguration of Meditation Program in Kashimpur Jail

On 22nd March, Thursday, an opening ceremony was held at Kashimpur jail to inaugurate ‘Quantum Meditation Program’ for the moral and spiritual development of the prisoners. At the ceremony, Inspector General of prisons BG. Ashraful Islam Khan and Jail Super of Kashimpur Jail Tipu Sultan were present.

BG. Ashraful Islam Khan said, I have seen a significant positive change among the prisoners of Dhaka Central Jail who participated at various programs arranged by Quantum Foundation for more than last one year. I have observed changes in their attitude, health and habits. This inspired me greatly to take the initiative to start Quantum Meditation Programs at all the prisons of the country.

Director Suraiya Rahman, Engineer Pranogeet Lal Shil, Rabia Nazreen, Nazmun Nahar and Golam Rabbani Ripon of Quantum Foundation also joined the ceremony. While delivering a speech, Director Suraiya Rahman said that she was feeling extremely fortunate for getting the opportunity to serve by conducting this program.

250 male prisoners and 235 female prisoners attended this program and they were happy to be a part of this ceremony. Very soon, Quantum Method Course will be held at Kashimpur Jail.
