Once a Year Programs

Eid Get-together  

Since 1993, Gurujee and Majee have been organizing a get together for Quantum members and well-wishers on the morning of Eid ul Fitr. It is an occasion that every member of the family, including new born, can join. The presence of people of every religion, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists, makes it truly special.  As the Quantum family becomes bigger and bigger, more and more people are joining this get together, with more than 10 thousand people present this year. 

Borshaion

The  1st of January is not only the beginning of the English New Year, it is also Quantum Foundation's birthday. As such, it has special significance for the members of the Quantum family. Each year, to celebrate this special occasion, thousands of Quantum Graduates organize a very special program called Borshaion in their homes and neighborhood, not to mention Quantum cells, centers and branches. Cultural performances and delicious pithas add to the enjoyment. After evaluating the previous year’s successes and failures, the Quantum members start their journey  towards a more promising future with a new vision.

Borshoboron

To welcome the Bangla New Year, Quantum Graduates organize a festive program called Borshoboron on the first of Boishakh, the first month of the Bangla New Year, each year.  Some organize it in their homes, some in their parks or neighborhoods. They share their feelings, organize games and cultural performances and distribute  moyas and cool tamarind juice amongst the people sweating under the scorching Boishak sun. Like all Quantum activities, this celebration is also characterized by joy and the spirit of service.
