Quantas Win Parade and Display Championship for the 10th Year in a Row

It has been 10 years since the students of Quantum Cosmo School, a residential school run by the Quantum Foundation in the remote hilly areas of Bangladesh, first participated in the Victory Day Parade and Display Competition in Lama. At that time, hardly anyone had heard of the school located in the middle of nowhere, and no one expected much from the students who came mostly from indigenous families leading a threadbare existence in one of the most deprived regions of the country.

Quantas in Bangladesh Games

Students of Quantum Cosmo School and College participated in Kho Kho, handball and archery competitions in the 8th Bangladesh Games, known as the Bangladesh Olympics, for the first time this year. The performance of the students from a little known school in one of the remotest areas of the country exceeded the expectations of many and created quite a stir!

Quantum Cosmo College Inaugurated

The students of Quantum Cosmo School can now continue with college level education right in Quantumom. On 20th July 2012, Quantum Cosmo College was officially inaugurated by Babu Tinkori Chakroborty, Chairman of Quantum Cosmo School. 7 students are studying in the business department of the college at present.

Archery training commences at Cosmo School

On 21st June, 2012, the 15 day Archery course at Quantum Cosmo School ended. 31 Quantas participated in the course. The trainer of Bangladesh archery Federation Mr. Md. Jiya conducted this training program.

12 Quantas were finally selected as this training period ended. This training regime was maintained for two sessions each day and the program started in the eve of 6th June. Trainer Mr. Jiya expressed great contentment in teaching the Quantas and he expects the Quantas to lead in the field of archery.

No First Prizes for Quantas in Chittagong Victory Day Competition!

For the members of Quantum Foundation, Quantum Cosmo School's triumphant performance in Victory Day Parades and Display Competitions is no new news. Many years ago, the students from this unknown school in a remote area in Bandarban first participated in the competition at the upazilla level, and earned first prizes in both categories. Later, they decided to compete at the district level, where they also proved themselves to be the best.
